Stuff like this is why PlayStation-era Squaresoft might be my favorite game company. That's one hell of a lineup, covering all sorts of genres. I think the only game there that didn't draw me in was SaGa Frontier, and even that was interesting enough for me to play through Emelia's arc.

I really like how the Galactic Warriors promotional art gives off the same vibe as a mid-1980s robot toy you got cheap at the drugstore and didn't recognize as an anime mecha until you found it mixed in with your old Transformers twenty years later.
This week's Arcade Archives release is Konami's 1985 robot fighting game Galactic Warriors🤖

worth noting disc 130 actually has MORE & much earlier concept art for Mega Man Legends, including multiple pieces with untranslated artist comments.

"Get OUTFOXIES or get OUT," I say to an arcade that's actually just a storage closet at a hotel which hasn't had a game room since 2006 and never updated their Yahoo entry's list of amenities.
If it does not happen at some time I will buy a hat & then eat it

Dweeb will appear on our screens in the future. I am sure of it🙏

Technically Nintendo has Tetris Attack's original version on their online service (as Panel de Pon) but it doesn’t have the various Yoshi's Island characters, and that means it doesn't have this adorably disinterested yellow Yoshi.

Can everyone please wish a happy 35th birthday to our definitely not insain but slightly evilly reprogrammed toothy overlord Cyber-Lip, who 1st appeared on the Neo Geo MVS back on November 7th 1990🎂

New blog post time!

This week's game is Strahl (aka Triad Stone), an interactive movie about a guy's journey to become king and change the world. This one's far more forgiving than other games like it and you get a lot of chances to change the story (48 endings!), so it's quite a pleasant ride:
Strahl
With the way it is now, Strahl is an incredibly chill time. It reminds me of the days where anime was a new novelty and my friends and I would scrounge up whatever VHSes and DVDs we could find of s…

Damn, these unreleased games just keep coming. Dark Empires looks pretty cool, too!

Maybe this is all some secret competition to share previously canceled games. Anyone have Mariner's Run/Sea Dog or Shogun Maeda/Kabuto?

First the Splatterhouse RPG and now a Mega Drive port of Virtual Lab? What's next? Distopia? Ultimate Journey? Super Dog Booby?

Such was Woundwort's monument.
Last night I went to the Puca Festival in Trim, Ireland.

It's all fun and games until someone unleashes a giant demonic hare.

This is full of great stuff, from the Blade Runner reference to the president's ideas ("Americans love kanji!") to the origins of the "Gaiden" thing.

note the legals: LRG's using Japan's arbitration system for orphaned games to reissue Little Samson—if you can demonstrate that you've made a genuine effort to contact/identify a potential rights owner to no avail, you can legally commercialise an old game by paying royalties to the JP govt, which…

My favorite thing about What A Dummy is that the dummy reappeared in the short-lived 2003 sitcom the Pitts, in which he tormented the titular Pitt family until they got a beaver to devour him. Can ALF or Scorch or the rabbit from Unhappily Ever After claim that sort of crossover?
BONUS EPISODE! We chat about What A Dummy from 1990 starring a young, Stephen Dorff. What do you get when you drop a sentient, wisecracking ventriloquist dummy into a standard family sitcom? Listen now and find out in this treat for the spooky season. rememberthatshow.transistor.fm/episodes/rem...

All we need now is the poorly received Wii game, plus that Toshinden anime with a Basic Instinct scene as well as a climactic battle where our heroes win by doing other people's moves.
