COMMENTARY: It takes a great country to admit its mistakes. The Trump administration's new signs at Colorado's National Historic Sites reflect weakness and insecurity.

This thread is an amazing microcosm of the modern complex food system and why tariffs are going to affect things in all sorts of unpredictable ways
Ok. So. The US imports more peanut butter than we export- by ~20,000 metric tons.

20K tons isn't much compared to other goods. But it's also a lot, considering the US grows 2.75M tons of peanuts/yr.

Why? Well, the US exports peanuts to other countries. They make the butter & sell it back to us.

Like many Americans, I love Canada: I have lived and worked there; I have watched CFL games in Ottawa (Rough Riders v. Roughriders!) and curling in Regina; I have had stout in Gastown, St-Viateur in Montréal, and poutine in Hull. And like many (embarrassed!) Americans, I stand with Canada now. 🇨🇦🤝🇺🇸

A gay guy, a Black man, and a woman walk into a flight deck— that’s not the beginning of a joke, but just a regular day at work! There was so much DEI on this plane that we could hardly get in the air. Luckily my limp wrists were able to wrestle the heavy jet back to the ground 💅🏼

FEEDBACK: A viewer questions Rep Lauren Boebert (R-CO) offering a Capitol tour to pardoned J6 rioters. But I can see why.

I've had a Ryzen 3600 in my computer for the past several years. I did some cleaning up this weekend and found a 5800X in a drawer that I bought over a year ago and forgot to install so yay for a "free" CPU upgrade I guess?

Got the power supply board connected up to the DC load for some efficiency testing. I think I'm going to have to find a different regulator for the 5v and 4v rails since the module I picked apparently does not have a light load efficiency mode.

I'll have to post a picture tomorrow but the first board built with my @opulo.io lumenPNP reflowed perfectly and required no rework.

I'm pretty excited to see what we can do with this to shave time off the prototype cycle and iterate on designs faster.
