If you didn't vote for Harris, you voted for what's happening. Don't be mad. You wanted this. 75m of us tried to stop it but the rest of y'all were fine with it. My empathy is reserved for those who tried to stop this by voting Harris. Everyone else deserves what they voted for.

Tonight, we did something everyone counted out. We proved to a nation that states like Tennessee are still worth fighting for. The margin was close, and that can only be attributed to the thousands of volunteers who showed out. This is just the beginning.

I want to take a moment to thank the entire Elias Law Group team who worked on the Texas redistricting case as well as our fearless clients. The thirteen Black and Latino voters we represented stood up to challenge Texas's unprecedented mid-decade redistricting. We all ow them a debt of gratitude.

I confess I never saw a day where Trump would have to order his AG to protect him because the members of the MAGA GOP would begin to break ranks with him on ANY issue, but that just goes to show you how volatile The Epstein Files have become and how truly panicked Tang the Conqueror really is.

The fact that Trump is calling Mace and Boebert today pleading with them to remove their names from the Epstein petition at the last minute tells you everything you need to know about how incriminating the info in the files is to him and his cronies.

I don't have anything constructive to say about anything in the world except for fuck every single person who was eligible to vote for Kamala Harris and did not. Senate Democrats did not put us here, as they are inept losers unable to do this kind of damage. Only voters could fuck up this much.

Senate Dems voting for this aren't "cowardly fucks". They are voting for harm reduction for 7 weeks and to force the House back into session or own the shutdown. Anyone shitting on dems instead of repubs is part of the problem. Don't fall for this disinfo.
This is an important note, please look beyond the cowardly fucks that are the Democrats voting for this.

Now the House has to vote...and it's currently not in session because Johnson won't seat someone because of Epstein.

This is bad, but it's all bad, keep pushing.

Everybody on my feed who is freaking out right now, I beg you to read this, and the thread from which it comes. We're all really in our feelings right now, but this is a time that calls for a bit of pragmatism and logic. Feel your feelings tonight, but come back tomorrow ready to see other POVs.
Yep! So senate dems got senate repubs to cave. And because of that, in order for the bill to pass, the House has to be in session and take action. So it basically forces repubs to reopen the House or keep the shutdown.

All of this. I’m grateful for her job as Speaker, never bringing a bill to the floor unless she had the votes. I’m grateful for her years of standing up for the LGBT community especially when AIDS was devastating San Francisco. I’m also angry at how she betrayed Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
It is possible to be grateful for Nancy Pelosi's many years of service to this country and to be glad she is not running for re-election. You do not need to choose.

She was a great speaker and she got shit done.
She tarnished her legacy by sabotaging Joe simply because she didn't know how to let go of power.
