My UK tax rises, for when I get in to power.

£1 on every betting advert, payable by the betting company, on podcasts, Tv, you tube.

10p on every item delivered by Amazon. Price of killing the high street.

£1 on every facebay sale, payable by Meta.

Brexit has cost each and every one of us £3,700 a year.

But instead of solving the problem, Labour are using Brexit as an excuse to raise your taxes.

My message ahead of the Budget: Stop blaming Brexit and start fixing it!

Worth noting that if you buy from Amazon and they say it was delivered, but it wasn’t, you are fucked.

‘Handed to resident’ means they don’t need to take a proof of delivery photo and you have to wait 48 hours before you have any form of redress.

Even if there was any sort of academic benefit to homeschooling (there isn't), it would be completely offset by the social damage of being raised that way. School isn't just learning academic subjects, it's learning how to leave your home and participate in society.

Had a taxi ride and the cabbie was old ‘white British’. Lots of good points, strong union and workers rights vibes. Also a whiff of reform. Interesting how proper workers rights ppl can be turned ‘flag shagger’, when their real beef is with managers and tax dodging companies.

Saw that @mattgreencomedy.com at Tototototn last night and loved it. You’re on Bluesky, you’d love it too - find him in Liverpool if you’re northern or Brighton if you’re that way.

This ties into my recent grumble about the phrases “virtue signalling”, “pearl-clutching” and “purity tests”: the notion that all expressions of moral principle or disapproval are just a performance to impress others - that morality itself is phoney
When they say Trump calling a reporter "piggy" is "just being honest," they are revealing a key feature of the reactionary mind: it believes, at a deep brainstem level, that *everyone* is awful & selfish & ugly on the inside. Everyone just suppresses it out of fear of social disapproval. Not Trump!

The Roman Empire prospered due to open borders, mass immigration and diversity then fell because of huge wealth inequality and corrupt leadership. I just thought I'd mention it.

This man was trafficked into Britain, in ways which the government would now use to make him subject to deportation. According to a leading political pundit, he brought with him ancestral violence, which means that he *and his British-born children* should be expelled.

This man.

BBC

Bias is often in the eye of the beholder

So let’s stick to measurable facts

During 10 yrs of debate about Brexit, BBC QuestionTime had Britain’s Members of the European Parliament on the show 50 times

Every single one was from the pro Brexit minority

47 were from UKIP/BP

23 times Farage

These hoodies are sewn using a double needle coverstitch for durability, but the underarm and side seams are sewn using a flatlock seam. This produces a smoother, flatter seam, removing the bump that can rub against the body.

Paul at IG toofbush explains the flatlock seam below.

It was bonfire night yesterday and, for all the haters, sucks to be you.

Loved it, love the fact that people can spank £50 on a cake which sets off 100 fireworks in sequence with a simple single fuse.. far safer and more entertaining for everyone.

Douglas Barrowman and Michelle Mone made £65m selling faulty PPE to the Government.

HMRC now wants £39m in unpaid tax — and we think we know why: Barrowman and Mone may have avoided tax on their £65m profit.
