The International Olympic Committee is set to ban trans and intersex women from competition. This is despite the fact that for 20 years, the IOC has allowed trans athletes to compete and only 1 has ever competed and none have ever won a medal.

I got a box set of Seishi Yokomizo murder mystery books. I was worried they might be a challenging read given their age but they are not and the translator (I assume) does a good of spelling out the bits of Japanese culture you need to know. They go down super easy like an Agatha Christie novel.

I have a confession. When I tell wild stories about my Uncle Joe, which includes fighting the fascists in the Spanish civil war, I am talking about my grandfather’s brother. Also not actual Uncle Joe’s name was Patrick, as I discovered when I went to visit him in hospital. Still my Uncle Joe.

Ask anyone who was on the comedy scene when he was a stand-up. He's always been a dick. He's racist (virulently Islamophobic in particular), creepily dates younger women, is a vaccine denier and doesn't believe in germ theory. He's a reactionary centrist and any idea that he's liberal is laughable.
Always told liberals Bill Maher was a racist piece of shit, especially against Muslims and Arabs, and we were ignored for years.
