I'm a writer/director working in genre that likes a lot of spooky things 👻 Halloween obsessive 🎃 Have a black cat familiar named Salem 🐈⬛ My latest film is The Sin-Eater 🎬 She/They 🏳️🌈🇪🇺
And can you imagine what it's like for those of us who don't have the cachet of fame...those of us who trudge through the trenches of shorts...us 'little' women with big ideas banging our heads against walls as we try & try again...what's the definition of insanity again? Oh yeh, a female director.
She's absolutely right. As a producer with several films in development with female directors, I can say it is an absolute uphill battle to get execs to fund their projects. Great scripts are sitting on shelves while a generation of our most talented women sit idle.

This is the only film in a horror module I taught that actually freaked my students out...it's the sound 😏

The Sin-Eater has been selected for Beeston Film Festival - whoop! A local festival to me & BIFA qualifier BUT I can't believe it's my 1st time playing! I attended the awards last year to watch a friend pick up the Pride B'Oscar & the cinema & team were lovely so I'll be there in April supporting ❤️
