I'm no Zelda purist, but—no wait that's exactly what I am. Wtf is she doing with a bow and arrow kit like some basic elf ranger?

The whole vibe here is exactly what I feared a live action adaptation would be: like a Freeform show that's been given a decent budget

Well excuse me, princess!
Apropos of it being Monday, Nintendo has just shared a handful of new photos from its upcoming live-action The Legend of Zelda movie starring Bo Bragason and Benjamin Evan. The pics don’t tell us much...

no I’m not surprised, just imagining (among other things) an opposition party that took this population seriously and devoted itself over the many years it would take to make this country actually livable for them
"In 2025, 40% of women aged 15 to 44 say they would move abroad permanently if they had the opportunity. The current figure is four times higher than the 10% who shared this desire in 2014, when it was generally in line with other age and gender groups."

The percentage of younger women in the U.S. who express a desire to migrate permanently has surged in the past decade.

It's Bandcamp Friday, ya'll, when artists get 100% of the money you spend!

Instead of paying $15 a month to Spotify so they can throw AI slop at you, why not put that money toward the slow but sure investment of your very own music collection which can never be taken away! 🤯

A milestone for Linux adoption, to be sure. I found it notable that after Steam OS's inevitable number 1 place, Arch took second most popular distro, and my fav lil' CachyOS (an Arch-based distro) is now at number 4. www.gamingonlinux.com/2025/11/linu...
Linux gamers on Steam finally cross over the 3% mark
It finally happened. Linux gamers on Steam as of the Steam Hardware & Software Survey for October 2025 have crossed over the elusive 3% mark.

What a thoughtful and well-written article on @theverge.com! Not normally where I would expect to see a serious examination of tran history and identity, and I don't agree with all of it, but it's very welcome indeed!

The return of the trans underground
The internet once helped trans people connect and organize. Now it’s a dangerous liability. What comes next?

This new fake Disney+ scam message is impressively sophisticated, as long as you don't bother to check the email address it's coming from. Even then, it's using a real domain, just not a relevant one. Has it been hijacked? Or part of a larger scam?
