Currently conducting a small amount of business with someone who's very clearly using AI for responses to me. It just SO obvious and distasteful, and I wish we had already developed a polite way to say, "Please don't do this to me," because the only ways I can think of right now are REALLY rude.

Hey remember the shooting in Minneapolis that happened between Renee Good and Alexi Pretti, the guy they claimed was shot by an agent after he had attacked that agent with a shovel? I mean, it's nice to have the imagination kick in, but a little DIRECTION would be nice sometimes...

I don't have a unifying plot/theme-line for it, so I'm not sure how I'd stitch the time-hopping viewpoint together. And it'd take about 90 issues, so I'd need to find a way to trim it down.

I arrived too late to an abduction yesterday. Ice vehicles boxed in a food delivery driver on the highway. They took him, and when I came on the scene (with a few other neighbors in cars), his keys were still in it. We found his phone, a debit card, his car title and registration.

When I last DM'd (a million years ago), I knew all of my players had read all the manuals.
So I would randomly change up the characteristics of monsters. Oh, you tried using fire against that troll? How sad for you -- they're vulnerable to ice now.

Our DM doubled down on this at Saturday's session. Our party encountered the following:

Giant Centipede Bravo
Giant Centipede Green
We had no way of knowing how many centipedes were left, and he was delighted at our confusion.

I'm convinced AI is our generation's radium - a discovery with genuinely useful applications in specific, controlled circumstances that we stupidly put in everything from kid's toys to toothpaste until we realised the harm far too late where future generations will ask if we were out of our minds.
