Reports in put death toll higher than 100 people with many children among those killed by Israeli attacks
As we mentioned in the opening post, there were ceasefire negotiations between Israel and Hamas in Qatar, which has acted as a mediator throughout the war, on Saturday.
According to BBC News, Hamas agreed to release nine hostages in exchange for a 60-day truce and Israel releasing Palestinian prisoners from detention.
With the launch of Operation Gideon’s Chariots in Gaza, led with great force by IDF command, the Hamas delegation in Doha announced a return to negotiations on a hostage deal, contrary to the intransigent stance they had taken up until that moment. Continue reading...

These mistakes are so predictable when you put a bunch of 20 year old kids in charge--who have no actual experience using and analyzing government data, administrative data, or survey data. We all learned the hard way, but unlike these numbskulls, we weren't in a position to crash the economy.
If you have ever worked with an old dataset you will immediately think - wait, aren't numbers with all 9s often a marker for missing data? Let's take a deeper look at USASpending.gov. Guess what? There was no money allocated at all to this contract. Only a $20M error. But, wait, there's more! 2/

In my city there is one cybertruck and one DIY parody of a cybertruck and the parody truck has become a local celebrity. Meanwhile, I always wish I had some rotten eggs to throw at the tesla whenever I see it.

Target, which announced it is ending all DEI programs and has a minimum wage of $15-$24/hour, is down over 4%.
