Some of the people in this article have shared their recollections with me before - but on condition of anonymity. Coming forward now is an act of patriotism. Farage’s claim that it never happened is the opposite.

Far right protest today:
29 - police officers injured
9 - protestors arrested

Proscribed group protests:
0 - police officers injured
1,600 - protestors arrested

We have Keir Starmer and Yvette Cooper to thank for this absurd anomaly

Reform UK, which has a grand total of four MPs, was just given an uninterrupted platform for an hour and a half on the BBC and Sky News channels, in order to talk about its plans for mass deportations

When was the last time the Greens (with four MPs) or the Lib Dems (with 72) were given the same?

A reminder: Asylum seekers are in hotels because of a huge application backlog that the gov't must work through. Robert Jenrick - now, bursting with creative solutions - processed applications slowly ***on purpose*** as a deterrent.

Here he is, as Immigration Minister two years ago, saying so. ~AA

The 90-in-180-day problem is a big problem for highly mobile Brits who travel a lot for work, have family in Europe or who have part year homes in other European countries.

Thankfully LibDems & others are realising the impact it has and pushing the government to negotiate better arrangements.

Decent politicians need to push back against Farage's comments on Lucy Connelly.

"millions of mothers after Southport feeling exactly the same way"?

No.
Millions did NOT feel the need to call for mass murder of asylum seekers & we simply cannot allow the idea to be normalised.

STARMER HASN’T DELIVERED US OUT OF HARD BREXIT.
Almost every part of Johnson’s hard Brexit deal remains, only a tiny fraction has changed.

The ‘no rejoining the SM & CU’ red line remains. NO EXPLANATION.

Some say it’s a start, but Starmer wants you to forget about Brexit.

NO WAY!

I find this whole debate depressing. Today's yougov 3 questions snd results.

1) An entirely press fueled fact free topic.
2) The assumption of out of control immigration and all immigration being bad rather than mostly beneficial.
3) A Labour government pandering to racists.

I could go on.

Theft is not a valid alternative.
