I want to emphasize two pieces: Give of yourself; spend time with kids. Sports officials, coaches, instructors, don’t come from the ether and they are crucial to a healthy civic society (and many pay you while you do something healthy)…
Take leaps of faith. Move in with your partner. Spend time with kids (your own or someone else’s). Call your grandparents. Contribute at least a lil bit to your 401k each paycheck. Spend time with people that care about something beyond themselves. Only watch TV with other people. Give of yourself.
