Sometimes I feel that I like too many things. Drawing, reading, writing, editing videos, photography, cooking, this city. Fortunately, sometimes in life it just so happens that you get to combine most of your loves into a single endeavor.

So many thanks to everybody who has made this possible.

For @washingtonpost.com, I illustrated an interactive comic about how auroras appear in our skies. Words and science by Kasha Patel. Art direction by Hannah Good, and brought to life by Emily Wright and Emma Kumer.

Had so much fun collaborating, imagining, and drawing this piece.

Scientists have unraveled the science that brings aurora to our skies. See how it happens.
Visualize the science behind the glow of the northern lights, as it travels from the Sun to the Earth.

Kay Sohini's graphic memoir, This Beautiful, Ridiculous City, tells a story of migration and redefinition. Gay Talese gathers many of his great pieces about the city in A Town Without Time.

A reviewer just accused me of using "Computer effects" to make my art. People who know me have seen me develop my style over the years. I have all the Procreate files with dozens of layers to prove everything is hand drawn!!

I know bad reviews come with the territory. But this is unacceptable.
