Yes. And diverting money into FSAs (which cannot be used to pay insurance premiums) requires a person to have an FSA in the first place, and FSAs are set up at employer discretion. most of the folks on ACA are not working for those kinds of employers. (Also true for HSA, 401k, etc).
Let me get this right… a sufficient number Senate Democrats appear to be willing to reopen government to alleviate air travel for upper & upper-middle income people at the expense of access to healthcare for lower income people. Yes?
