Ultimately, Spirit have the same problem as last year. They need to figure out how to score in these kind of games. You can make up for a mistake if you can score. You can't otherwise.

I love our team and I’m so proud of them for this whole season. They fought through so much adversity, and I hate that the story is going to be 8th place winning when it should be a team going through all the injuries that Spirit did getting second.

Adrian Gonzalez didn't get that one right. The extended time with 10 while Hershfelt got treatment, having her come back on when her step was gone, it all led to that Gotham goal
