GPT would have been such a great technology if LLMs were just used to augment search engines. Their natural language processing ability means they can find relevant content no matter how you phrase your query. No more keyword matching, just ask a question, or describe what you’re looking for. 1/2

Why on earth have Amazon taken a massive step back in the pin entry UI on FireTV? It now takes several more button presses and worse than that, your kids can see the pin! At worst before they knew which half of the range each digit fell in, now they know every digit!

I happened to mention at work that I dislike the expression "nothing is certain in life except death and taxis", as taxis can be famously unreliable and hard to get hold of at certain times of day. They laughed at me for a solid half-hour and my nickname is now "Uber".

I recently had the displeasure of digging through my brother’s Subaru Crosstrek which had been t-boned and towed to a scrap yard. I wouldn’t wish this experience on you. You do see the death of the car: all of the deflated airbags exploded out of paneling and the steering wheel. The disintegrated

How brutal is the d-pad on the N64!? Just played an hour of KI Gold on it. My thumb feels like someone had sandpapered it. Not played for years really as my old N64 was getting a bit ropey and finally stopped giving video output when I did a retro gaming session for Cubs. 1/x
