4) We’ll bring peace and freedom to Iraq
5) We’ll find WMDs
6) We’ll be welcomed as liberators
7) It will be easy
8) It won’t take long

All lies.

Kids are capable of choosing the books they want to read.

Lots of evidence these days for my theory that like 90 percent of the time a desire to be elected to Congress means you are unfit to serve in congress.

Flood the school boards, councils, county seats, state legislatures, Congress, etc.

Big changes at the top happen when the ground shifts at the bottom. And that can start now.

The cognitive dissonance of getting up every morning and making coffee and walking the dog and going to meetings and answering emails and wondering what to make for dinner while there is a real live actual coup d’etat happening is BONKERS

Folks, you don’t need to watch the inauguration. Let’s watch movies instead.

Become a safe teacher for your black, brown, PoC and queer students especially. They will need your guidance and emotional support. Students know the teachers they can trust in a heartbeat. Be their shoulders for when they need to cry and their support for when they need to organize.
