A constant theme i hear in listening to people expressing distress is loneliness. A sense that "nobody really sees what I have to carry". Invisible mental labour. It's everywhere, behind the "I'm fine thanks". We dont need to be each other's therapists, but I do wish we'd give each other more grace.
