This is insane. What needs to happen for his voters to realize he’s doing what he said he’d do, and yes, they did vote for this?
“.. We’re just in such a state of shock. We just don’t really even know how to respond,” Gilkerson said. “Everyone thinks all farmers voted for this, but we did not vote for this.”

White men are ~31% of the US population. Any entity that hires more than 31% white men has a DEI program for white men.

Correct. There's a lot of ugly and awful things coming our way, and there are a lot of different ways to handle that, but please do not forget to add:

Everything bad is the fault of Trump and Republicans. Everything. They promised they'd fix it but haven't.

Blame, blame, blame, blame. It works.
wait why did Donald Trump make egg prices so expensive

Democrats need to have an aggressive and coordinated media strategy involving all of their members, surfacing derogatory information about Republicans, enumerating the problems they’ve failed to address, and filling the news hole with fresh complaints.
Shove the Presidency Down Trump’s Throat
Liberals spent the president-elect’s first term trying and failing to kick him out of office. This time out, they need to turn the White House into a prison.

Very interesting story. Scary that the extremist groups are attracting so many people to join them.
THREAD: In 2023, I received an envelope with no return address. Inside was a flash drive containing tens of 1000s of secret files.

It came from a vigilante with a tumultuous past, who'd conducted a years-long undercover operation. He didn’t tell the FBI or his family. He only told me.

It’s worth taking a second to refresh yourself about how this stuff works, and this is a good short explanation. My understanding is that what happened is that the house stripped things out of the bigger bill that it had *already passed* as standalone provisions.
Very understanding to be confused, it’s confusing. The same thing happened here as with the pediatric cancer bill: both passed in the House as stand-alone bills and were languishing in the Senate. After they were removed from the CR the Senate passed the stand-alone bills

I'm confused, did this pass the House already? I thought it got taken out there.

Great thread on why and what’s happening with funding the government.
Brief thread on how we got here: Since the GOP won control of the House 2 years ago they have not passed a single appropriations package into law. Government has operated at funding levels set by Dems 2 years ago via continuing resolutions every few months. This is not normal.

So a reminder:

It’s not ‘liberals’ saying Hegseth abuses women. It’s his mom.

It’s not ‘liberals’ comparing Trump to Hitler. It’s his vice-president.

It’s not ‘liberals’ calling Musk a liar and a racist. It’s his own child.
