Yesterday it was announced the Jackson KY office of NWS will go to part time operations. Today a Level 4 of 5 severe weather risk with strong tornadoes and widespread wind damage possible there. Not great.

One weird thing about having a chronic illness is that I am in pain all the time, right? So when I get hurt (smash my foot in door) I cannot think about anything else, it hurts so bad I want to yeet myself into the sun, and yet it should not be this bad?

So, one solution to this that works well for me is that I’ve stopped reading new male authors. After reading multiple books in a row where a rape was a motivator and there had been no indication that would happen so I could avoid, I just avoid all male authors.

LLMs are biased data, not knowledge, generation machines and function closer to a search engine than a person who can reason.

If you have zero education, but learn how to ask AI models the right questions , in many jobs you will be able to outperform someone with an advanced degree, but who is unwilling to use Large Language Models.
Just takes a smartphone, curiosity to experiment and a mindset to learn.

I've said before that people think leftists enjoy being right. It sucks, actually. I do not want to be proven right, that the national Democratic party is cooked, by them voting for cloture on the CR. I don't get anything out of it, I don't have a podcast to promote, things just keep getting worse.

What sucks is that if things keep going the way they are with no checks and balances, it will cost millions of lives.
And if by some miracle some of our checks and balances prevent the worst case scenario, liberals will decide the system is perfect and doesn’t need to change at all.
