A new CBO analysis of Trump's Big Ugly Bill reveals it's even better for the ultra-rich than originally thought.

Under the law, the richest 10% of households will GAIN $13,600 per year, while the poorest 10% will LOSE $1,200 per year.

Reverse Robin Hood.

There are 34,000 NYPD officers but the ATF has only 2,600 agents & 5,000 employees, a # that has remained unchanged for yrs due to gun lobby efforts to protect the industry.

Gun violence is the #1 killer of our kids but the fascist wants to reassign ATF agents to help deport immigrants.
We do not support the DOJ's proposal to merge the ATF with the DEA. The ATF is tasked with keeping us safe from gun violence and the bureau has been woefully underfunded for years and years due to lobbying efforts from the gun industry to evade accountability.

Kash Patel mostly absent as interim director, adding to ATF uncertainty
The FBI director has not been a visible presence at ATF since becoming interim agency head. The Justice Department has proposed merging the agency with the DEA.

That Musk has anything to do with our futures is a shitstain on America that must end.

As someone who has actually buried a child, this fucked up monster does not deserve children. He does not deserve our money adding to his wealth. He should be treated as the scum of the earth that he is.

Yes, this guy is a cowardly shithead.

But more importantly:

THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES THREATENED HIS LAW FIRM BECAUSE ONE OF THEIR FORMER PARTNERS HELPED PROSECUTE HIM.

How is this fucking acceptable in any way?
This letter from Paul Weiss chair Brad Karp makes things worse. Basically offers rationale and justification for everyone else following in Paul Weiss’s footsteps and capitulating to Trump. BLUF: We capitulated and everyone else should as well.

The ACA was cool because before the ACA EVERY SINGLE CHILD WITH CANCER hit their annual and lifetime limits almost immediately and were denied insurance for the rest of their lives and after the ACA that’s illegal.

Grateful for your years of service, Finn – and that the ACA helped you and your daughter get health care.
I was injured in the line of duty working as a sheriffs deputy and needed a spinal surgery. Had to accept a medical retirement at 40 yrs old. Lost my County health insurance for myself and my daughter. But no one would sell me insurance because of the injury. I had no insurance until the ACA.

Trump and his regime are especially outraged a Black woman would speak out. While MAGA hates all non-whites, they really, really hate Black women.
"Attorney general to Jasmine Crockett: ‘Tread very carefully’ with your Musk critique" Again if you thought the Trump regime was going to stop with just silencing green card holders you are delusional. They will arrest US citizens to send a message esp for Elon Musk. www.politico.com/news/2025/03...

Figured I’d hop on here today for the 15th anniversary of the Affordable Care Act.

With everything going on right now, it’s easy to feel like regular folks can’t make a difference – but the ACA is a reminder that change is possible when we fight for progress.
