Watching the excellent #girlswillbegirls on Prime Video got me thinking how rarely we get to see teenage girls in Hindi films or shows.

Neil Gaiman is shit stain on Indian train toilet who raped and abused multiple women. But everything I've read about Amanda Palmer in that New Yorker piece just makes me so mad. She knowingly sent young vulnerable women to her husband. Her feminism and empathy was all performative.

Great piece on romantasy as a genuine genre within romance, the modern novel writing process, similarities vs tropes and how romantasy often tells a story of difference using such familiar concepts that it feels like reading the same book over and over.

Did a Best-Selling Romantasy Novelist Steal Another Writer’s Story?
Tracy Wolff, the author of the “Crave” series, is being sued for copyright infringement. But romantasy’s reliance on standardized tropes makes proving plot theft tricky.

WOW! - The annual "Firefall" at Horsetail falls in Yosemite. This happens once a year when the sun lines up in a position to reflect off the falls this way, making it look like a 'firefall' instead of a waterfall 🔥

Just realised that Variety's #ActorsonActors will have Adrien Brody & Tilda Swinton in conversation. I really hope Tilda brings up the time Adrien bought Elsa Pataky a castle & then she dumped him for Chris Hemsworth. These conversations have become too manufactured & could do with some chaos.

When we talk of #Hindutva, we are referring to Nazi inspired Fascist Dictatorship that Dudebros want for India.

There is a BIG difference between Hindu & Hindutva!

I am a struthonian married to a microlipet. It's not fun
Two words for certain types of people, should you need them:

microlipet: one who gets all worked up over nothing.

struthonian: the person who buries their head in the sand and says ‘Problem? What problem?’.
