A podcaster credited an observation about a poll (“and keep in mind this poll was taken before ___”) to the original observer but gave the context “from The Onion” for his name so that was weird.

We had a car to use in our driveway in March. I had to dig it out a few times and the battery died in the cold twice. It really made me realize how few times we’d use one and how many of those can be cabs (no car share here yet).

I think this is the first time I've lived walking distance from a grocery store and I'm out of my mind about it. I'll walk there several times a day. Oh did I forget to grab something? No big deal I'll simply Walk To The Store

I have two sons, and I don't think I've ever seen messaging going "Don't be a boy" or "YOU'RE BAD."

Ty to @foldablehuman.bsky.social for your Minecraft colonialism video. My 6 and 8 year old are reminded regularly that villager violence is because they are NPCs, there are no such thing as NPCs in real life, and some of the worst things that ever happened were countries treating others like NPCs.
