How pleasingly ironic it would be for the British Broadcasting Corporation to remind Americans what the First Amendment is all about. The BBC may be about to lose a director general, but it still has a spine. www.prospectmagazine.co.uk/ideas/media/...

And yet the BBC has blocked its journalists from even reporting that @rutgerbregman.com made this same, spectacularly self-evident, statement of fact in his Reith Lecture.
I genuinely don't think I've ever seen a more transparently corrupt government and I'm from India
trumpcard.gov is live and the million dollar fees are all referred to as “gifts” or “contributions” to an undisclosed party lol

The biggest surprise about Farage's time at Dukwich is how he managed to leave without getting his head kicked in.
He would have done in most state schools.

What a recommendation! Thank you @alastaircampbell2.bsky.social & @rory-stewart.bsky.social both for recommending the podcast AND backing @the-citizens.bsky.social campaign for an inquiry into Russian interference in UK politics 👊👊👊
Rory Stewart and Alistair Campbell @alastaircampbell2.bsky.social spell out what needs to happen - the same demand we’ve made for years.

Farage can now be easily boxed in to a corner where his only ‘defence’ becomes: “Yes I spouted Kremlin propaganda & Putin worship but, unlike Nathan Gill, I didn’t need bribes to do it.”
It is, once again, a question of whether interviewers have the temerity to shut down his whining obfuscations.
