The electorate of any country expects their politicians to respect their constitution. What @chrismurphyct.bsky.social is calling for is for everyone to earn respect of the people by playing by the rules of the “game”.

We all take sides, that’s democracy. But we must all respect the law
The President of the United States just called for Democratic members of Congress to be executed. "HANG THEM", he posted.

If you're a person of influence in this country and you haven't picked a side, maybe now would be the time to pick a fucking side.

Finally got my hands on a Galton board and I can't get over just how cool it is. And it's *such* a good teaching tool too. You could use it to teach anything from generative modelling, to distributional assumptions, to entropy. Magical!

Politics is increasingly a mess

- career politicians have minimal understanding of the world they play with
- many roles are filled by politicians’ buddies with no apparent experience
- some (most?) politicians are more interested in how they can milk the system, than how they can contribute
- etc

Dear @microsoft.com

Is all of Copilot wonky like the “Download Free” button here?

Certainly doesn’t inspire confidence in the product.

Thx
