Fascinated by how things work, how people think and what small improvements could bring disproportionate benefits. Aviation data specialist, particularly helicopters
Could this happen to Starmer please?

Does this pack of cards contain anything of concern?

This explains it

Re-nationalisation isn’t working well so far. How much funds are allocated by Rachel Thieves to boost the system that Labour views as “broken”

There’s no way “nationalisation could save £150m” - it will be a massive drain on resources, which will need higher fares and/or taxes to fund

This is who’s “having a closer look”

You’ve reminded me of the world’s first banked motor racing circuit, 2.75 miles long, built in concrete in just 9 months from late 1906 and opened in mid 1907. Lap record of 143.44mph set in 1934. Closed 1939 due fuel rationing and not reopened in 1945 for safety reasons

Long live Brooklands, UK

Does Iran really have a “healthy ministry” or is this just another example of scrappy BBC journalism with no editorial oversight?

Dear @microsoft.com

Is all of Copilot wonky like the “Download Free” button here?

Certainly doesn’t inspire confidence in the product.

Thx

Todd Beamer was another hero on that flight. His widow Lisa was five months pregnant on that day. She wrote this very moving book about it all. I recommend it. Have tissues ready

Who insisted on suit wearing? Here is Churchill visiting the White House during WW2

It’s not just oligarchs that use AI. Self-employed entrepreneurs can build an organisation of AI personas without needing to employ anyone.

I’m including definition of “oligarch” for reference

How can delays of 16-30 minutes average 15 minutes?

Near East Horsley, Surrey - North Downs

Badly presented stats from BBC Sport. The right hand column is superfluous

He was also happy to laugh at himself - like the day he got stuck in this position (prior to being PM btw)

This reminds me of the Leake Street Arches in London UK, which continually evolves (everything gets overpainted regularly). Under the rail lines near Waterloo Station

These are photos of someone else visiting the WH while his country was at war. It’s called precedent

There was a precedent for “not wearing a suit to the WH when your country is at war”. 47 should do the due diligence before spouting off

The Wellington at Brooklands Museum (ex Loch Ness) is fully naked in this respect.

I have 1.4 Concordes very near my house. This is the 0.4 one which years ago sat at the top of the tunnel at Heathrow

Brooklands Museum in UK has another Concorde and is well worth a visit. Flying started in 1909 within the world’s first banked motor circuit which opened in 1907 (yes, before Indy)
