It turns out that the white supremacist Curtis Yarvin recently gave a lecture at Oxford's Sheldonian, the same hall in which I graduated. The University is denying it had anything to do with the lecture, which is obviously untrue.

Tl;dr - if Labour want to combat racism, they should say racism is wrong, over and over, and act on that belief (e.g. by leaving certain social media sites owned by racists). That would do more to promote anti-racist norms, and protect the interests of Britain's minorities than immigration controls.

Did some maths & worked out that if every one of my 12,400 followers on Bluesky was moved to buy a paperback of Villager after reading this extract, & I received the royalties from that in 2026 I still wouldn't have recouped 1/4 of the unpaid earnings my ex-publishers owed me when they went to hell.
