The Fulbright Foreign Student Program invites graduate students from abroad to come study in the US and guarantees funding for them to do so paid in a monthly stipend. Yesterday, some FFSP scholars received notification that they're only getting a week of their stipend.

Interesting to see these big name universities absolutely crumble and cave — halting admissions, altering faculty labs’ websites, and basically being a bunch of collaborators. Almost like that’s what they were really about all along. Almost like those billions in endowments aren’t for education.

Not only does this reduce the relevance of a medium, but also reduces the actual dollars it brings in from advertisers and investors.

These people are empowered by money and attention so you must treat each dollar you spend and every click like a vote.
I think there are few more effective actions you can take right now than to play a small part in reducing the social relevance of X by deleting your account.

If you want to expose yourself to diverse opinions or debate open an account on foxnews or stormfront or r/conservative, but delete X

We got a Costco membership for the first time in our lives today. They asked why & I said because treat your workers well, you value diversity, & you didn’t cave in to authoritarian demands. He said: “We’ve been getting lots of folks saying that, thanks for joining.”
