Damn—the Senate parliamentarian has ruled that a LOT of the reconciliation bill requires 60 votes to pass, including a massive assault on federal regulations and several heinous attacks on civil service protections. Maybe it’s the Democratic politicians that need to start doing better. I was absolutely disgusted with Biden/Harris and their policies—i.e., Israel, fracking, etc. Democrats will continue to receive my wrath and criticism until they start representing my interests—not AIPAC and corporations.
I think it's a real problem we need to recognize & control, if we want Democrats to start doing better. I don't know that I have good solutions. I'd like to hear what others propose as a response to the asymmetry.
