The Democrats are so feckless the GOP didn't even have to actually pass this bill before moving the goalpost. The instant they could get the votes in the Senate, they pulled the rug.
Ppl need to understand what's happening here.
The GOP response to the shutdown was: You're gonna cave, or we're going to hurt vulnerable people by shutting off SNAP. The Dems, unwilling to let that happen, caved.
Having watched that, the GOP is now saying: "Give us what we want on abortion or ..."

I'd go further. We are **rapidly** approaching the point where the rest of Rails Core can simply be assumed to be dhh supporters, up to and including the person he's become.
