A real news outlet publishing the phrase "Grok apologized" should result in like a week-long timeout. Think about what you've done.

I love this, more collaborative lexicon building in the atmosphere!

My favorite bit here is the fact that the platforms are making a concerted effort to make sure they all adopt one lexicon, working together on the definition so it doesn't become cumbersome for users to move between them!

At this point I’m not sure this is enough to convince anyone who is still there. They all have their excuses locked down.
There have been no good reasons for staying on Twitter for years now, but at this point you will have to follow up any of your remaining excuses with “…and I don’t care about the child pornography.”
This does seem just a little bit bad! Idk the sort of thing you’d think politicians might distance themselves from or something!

If you are a huge nerd like me, you may be wondering, "what about No. 6 trains that use the old City Hall Station to turn around at the end of their runs? What will they do during the Mamdani swearing-in?"

Fear not.

Might switch from Audible to @libro.fm. I'd occasionally miss Whispersync, but maybe I can live with that?

Checking out kipclip.com by @tijs.org. Something I've been wanting for a while is a pinboard alternative built on #atproto. I like that this one is built on a community schema (@lexicon.community) for PDS storage, as opposed to @rito.blue. I wonder if the community lexicon will become standard?

FYI: If you want to revoke permissions you previously granted to third-party Bsky tools, you can access your OAuth dashboard at bsky.social/account (or PDSNAME/account if you're self-hosted). It may take 5–10 min to work.
For my Bluesky power user friends: where does one go to see what apps are connected and to revoke permissions?

I see the app passwords section of the settings, but I'd been using OAuth 😩
