Did you notice the 'ceasefire' being utter fiction didn't prevent it being used to quietly squash all the boycott initiatives? They even called off the vote to keep Israel out of Eurovision

With 5 minutes, Paul Murphy dismantles the government and John Clendennen's attack on migrants and asylum seekers with the accurate statistics that contradict the Tánaiste and call into question the true nature of this repeated plea for a debate - even when granted a platform on national television
Isn't it funny how none of the ministers calling for "a debate" all week will actually debate it?

Don't fall for their mass distraction tactics, dog whistling to try and distract from government policy that's created the housing, healthcare, and cost of living crises we face.
Isn't it funny that government won't actually debate?

It's distract, distract, distract! Migrants aren't to blame for any of the crises we face. Performative cruelty of vulnerable people will not makes things better for a single person living here. Only getting rid of this uncaring government will. We need to build a movement against them. It's divide and rule. I 100% endorse this message. The spoiled votes are a 3rd or 4th order story in this election and disproportionate attention and airtime is a measure of the level of editorial discomfort with talking about Connolly’s success and FF/FG failure.
Catherine Connolly got more votes than any other president in history - any pol corr or commentator trying to convince you that the story is actually the spoiled votes is showing you their whole arse, and should be treated accordingly.

In this piece RTÉ does not state the plain fact that the cab rank rule exists and that the allegation is demonstrably false. Instead it asks CC to address the allegation again despite it being debunked last week, and despite the Bar Association issuing a press release to put a stop to this.

Bit weird how pushback against ill-informed or biased views is seen as more of an issue than aggressively right-wing agitators feeling vindicated and emboldened. Bit strange that so many people seem more comfortable with creeping fascism than with being asked to be decent about vulnerable groups.

They won't release the evidence because it was shoddy at best. They don't know more than the science that's already out there which supports the use of PBs. It was a decision riddled with ignorance, prejudice and a complete disregard for the human rights of trans children.

Please read this and think about the vulnerable kids living with abusive family members this Christmas. We are letting them down horribly.
Years ago a kid came into my life, he clearly had a bad situation at home and over time he divulged to me that he was being badly beaten by his father on at least a weekly basis. I reported it to Tulsa but it was the weekend so they told me I needed to call the Gardai. Around 3pm the Gardai

Coalition talks must be very intense as they try and decide on ways to continue to ignore stuff like this. Lucky there are so many voters happy to ignore it along with them!

One of the great frustrations of current media narrative is the idea that violence began with the attack by Hamas and the heinous acts that accompanied it. Israeli colonial rule is constructed on constant and enduring structural violence against Palestinians.
