I really hoped Lionsgate would be able to keep that recent Sunrise on the Reaping news a secret until opening weekend, but everyone who read the book knew it was probably coming. The gasps and cheers in theaters would've been great to experience.

I think part of the reason I've always resonated with Rian Johnson's work is that we both made it through the same asylum, and I'd long sensed a deconstruction energy hanging over his filmography, even before Wake Up Dead Man. Was glad to get that confirmed. sojo.net/articles/cul...
