Vanquish. It was a godawful movie with Ruby Rose and Morgan Freeman. I think he shot his scenes in a house by himself during Covid.

I think part of the reason I've always resonated with Rian Johnson's work is that we both made it through the same asylum, and I'd long sensed a deconstruction energy hanging over his filmography, even before Wake Up Dead Man. Was glad to get that confirmed. sojo.net/articles/cul...
