I hope America is as lucky as the delta jet - everyone survives but the right wing explodes
We have this picture of fascism as Nazis rolling in with tanks and soldiers and say, "Of course I'd recognize that! I'd fight against it!" But that's not how it shows up. It's quiet. It woos us with golden promises that we want to believe SO badly-- the end to all our misery.
This should be the poem of the resistance.

Does “Golden Age” refer to a time when planes keep crashing, eggs cost $10–15 a dozen, the U.S. is being booed and protested by all our allies, workers are losing their jobs, and Americans’ personal data is being rummaged through by unelected oligarchs and their strange crew of 20-something incels?
