Didn't happen, OBV.

But IDK, why not just tax them so they pay that much?
Trump: "By the way, a friend of mine called us the other day and he said 'I'd like to contribute any shortfall you have because of the Democrat shutdown. I'd like to contribute any shortfall you have with the military.' Today, he sent us a check for $130 million. It's gonna go the military."

Man, before the BoM website change all I had to do was go to the main page, glance at the state I'm in to look for min/max and that was enough for me.

Now I have to do one additional click to get that information and it's making me feel just a teensy bit irrationally angry.

Astoundingly this is not a mischaracterisation
Over the past week, the president said the DOJ should pay him a quarter billion dollars, bulldozed half the White House to build himself a gaudy ballroom, bragged about murdering civilians in international waters, pardoned some more criminals, directed federal prosecutors to indict his opponents ...

Am I the only one that has to take the fucking HR training every year is that just me
I have a young relative who lost her job and is currently looking for another. She had a zoom interview for a position, and I overheard part of it. The employer asked her if she had kids, how old they are, and about their daycare.

Those questions lead to discrimination…obviously.

I was a skeptic about the import of the Epstein files.

But 3 invasions of cities, one military buildup outside Venezuela, a government shutdown, and so many other things meant to distract have me convinced whatever’s in there is the biggest presidential scandal in U.S. history.

This favouring of older voters skews the economy, Tugendhat says: "Parties are religious about preventing any building, defending an established asset class against a future asset class."

This is refreshingly blunt stuff for a Tory conference.

You can have a situation with rising renewable absolute output and percentages of total (and falling emissions intensity!), but also stagnant or even rising greenhouse gas emissions: when *demand* itself is rising fast.

This is very clearly the case in Aus, and it should trigger alarm bells
