Training plan week 12 run 3 - 6 x 800m reps. Tough one tonight in the freezing cold 🥶 and made hard with the long static recovery. My last post for a little while, I need a social media break, except Strava, until personal things settle. Maybe days, or weeks. Nevertheless, I will be back soon 😊

Bailed out on my 6am run today. I was too tired, and listened to my body. Felt better for the extra hours sleep. Hopefully do it Fri 🙏 instead.

Training plan week 12 run 2 - tempo Tuesday. Mental/tired battle 0 John 1! 💪 was pleased for just doing it, but I just dug in tonight. Nice running through the streets and the Christmas 🎄 lights. Hope its not too icy for the 6am run tomorrow.

Great to meet up with lads, including my son for the suit fitting for my mates wedding next May. A few drinks and a laugh afterwards. Just what I needed after a few shitty weeks. Wedding fayre today, where we get married Aug 27.
