The impact of ICE arrests is extending into America's child care system: It's reducing the number of immigrant child care workers available — and prompting U.S. mothers with young children to leave their jobs as they scramble for stable care. 19thnews.org/2025/12/ice-...

The fact that Netflix could afford to buy warner brothers means they could've afforded to let us share passwords.

If I ever got big and someone is like “hey, people are saying this untrue thing about you what is your response?” Trust I will have a response and a stance.
Not gonna be out here free associating me with fascism just because I couldn’t be bothered.

If Kohler can view the user’s toilet data, as it admits to doing in this email exchange with technologist Simon Fondrie-Teitler, then it’s not—by definition—using end-to-end encryption. @evystadium.bsky.social has more.

If this is the “Jan. 6 a pipe Bomber” then there won’t be any problem with this being covered by the already in place pardon, right? … right?

Is Pantone trying to buy another company or something?
Killed DEI, now flogging its corpse
Pantone’s 2026 color of the year is technically not a color at all — meet Cloud Dancer, the first-ever white shade to receive the designation from the world’s color authority.

@rollingstone.com’s top 20 movies of 2025 not including Sinners is a choice.

That last point is insane, especially for Apple Music, because of the big music streaming services, they could absolutely lose no money and still pay out streams on their platform at 100% (their money comes from tech sales, not music). This applies to YouTube and Amazon as well.
I’ve been using QoBuz (switching from Apple Music) and it’s been great. No bullshit. Music focused. And on top of that the artists actually make money from this service.
December 3, 2025 at 5:00 PM
Between Tidal, QoBuz, and a slew of other options there are so many alternatives to Spotify and Apple Music’s dogshit service.

A full O-ren Ishi movie + similar for Vernita and Elle would go harder big dawg.
Quentin Tarantino says he's interested in doing a 'Kill Bill' prequel project

It would focus on Bill and the three Godfathers that made him

"Will I live long enough to do that?... That remains to be seen”

And I’d also like to know what time period they’re counting as “Black Friday” because some of these sales started early November!
DON’T LET THEM FOOL YOU

Black Friday $ sales are higher this year because things are more expensive. So consumers aren’t buying more items, they’re just paying more them.
