I sincerely hope Democrats pay attention to tonight’s results across the country. They won’t learn anything but still. Maybe. People are excited by change and original campaigns and bold ideas and candidates under the age of 50!

It’s bittersweet watching my “I don’t talk politics” friends, freak out now that they realize their health care premiums are unaffordable, and the administration they casually supported betrayed them.

I don’t see much evidence that anyone believes in a big, inclusive tent anymore. The attitude is I’m ok with your needs as long as mine are met first.

What I’ve learned from listening to crime podcasts is if I’m ever a cashier at Walmart, and someone buys duck tape, zip ties and a large tarp…. I’m calling the authorities.
