My mama has never talked much about herself or her life, but this woman made sure my sister and I had a different childhood & opportunities than she had.

I can’t stress enough the strength it takes to bend your family’s trajectory by a lifetime of making decisions that weren’t obvious or easy.

I am stalled, indefinitely, on the book I have planned for years to write.

But on the way to Oregon I had an idea so clear and focused, that I even if few read it, I need to write it.

<Drumroll> it has started! First draft of half the introduction is complete.

Reducing the gospel to a individual get out of eternal jail free card has landed us where we find ourselves today. I mean, who doesn't want a card like this? A pretty sweet deal. This gospel message, however, requires ignoring most of the Bible except for a few verses cherry picked out of context.
