I just saw the acronym LGB in a publisher catalog and it took a good minute to realize it stood for Little Golden Book and not transphobia.

A college friend asked me to drive him 1.5hrs to the nearest gay bar to celebrate turning in a project. It was my first time in a gay bar. Met him on the dancefloor and we kept seeing each other weekly while I finished my degree. 22yrs later we’re still dancing 💃 🪩
