Going through photos on my phone, 2016 - now, and if I am honest it is heartbeaking to see the spark slowly go out of me. Trump, the impossible job, COVID, losses I will not name, more Trump.
Fuck me if 2026 isn't the year I get it back. 🤨

Look, everything about Trump and his Administration has made it harder for the American people.

Costs are up. Jobs are gone. People are fed up.

If possible the horses will be rescued by Ukraine. Other animals like Camels, Donkeys, Mules, Sheep, and Dogs are also being used by the Russian side to carry supplies and mine sweep; the best effort to save them where possible, will be taken. Russia isn’t only abusing humans.

Ukrainian drone operators have switched to a new strategy to maximize the safety of war horses on the Russian side, they now fly the drone towards the horse to scare it into dismounting the rider and terminate the orc threat safely away from the horse.

Think of Christmas, think of snow
Think of sleigh bells - off you go!
Like a reindeer in the sky
You can fly! You can fly! You can fly!

Happy Christmas!

Liturgically, Christmas Eve is part of the first day of Christmas, so “Merry Christmas!” Here I am at the Nutley Tree Lighting a few weeks ago looking like a character from a Hallmark movie with local socialite Michele Tortorello.

We are all so busy this time of year and it seems we don’t have time for some beloved traditions. Here’s a summary of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol”

All of these bootlegged copies of the 60 Minutes segment flooding my feed (saying, ‘Watch it quick! Before it disappears!’) makes me feel like I’m in the Soviet Union and just got some black market foreign newspaper I need to hide under a floorboard in my house.

This is where America is now

Each night when I look across the garden and see the lights of the World Trade Center rising through the trees I am reminded that regardless of how well or poorly today might have gone, tomorow is filled with the possibility of something wonderful.

Remember: Almost all of us are the descendants of immigrants who fled persecution, or were brought to America under duress, or sought better lives for themselves and their descendants.

Politicians who stoke fear and hatred over immigration want you to forget this.

Do not.

Fun fact: It’s easy to keep premiums low when you only have to insure healthy people.
LANKFORD: In 2010, before Obamacare kicked in, the normal healthcare premium was $215.

HUNT: Right. But insurance companies could refuse to cover you for a preexisting condition

LANKFORD: That's true.

Casual reminder that the myth of “pulling yourself up by your bootstraps” is a cruel hoax designed to convince poor people from all walks of life that the injustices they face are a result of their own actions, rather than an oppressive system rigged against them.
