Let's shut down the BBC for a month and see who misses it. I don't care about cakes, antiques, buying houses, chat shows, quizzes, celebrities on holiday, people dancing better than somebody else and interminable weather forecasts so I'm probably safe.

Thank goodness the government will prevent foreigners from trying to come and work in our care homes. That'll stop them dodging taxes, selling off the NHS, polluting our water, pocketing huge bonuses, making billions from dodgy government contracts, and buying yachts. About time.
