Any four Republican Senators could stop this at any time simply by threatening to block all action (or even caucus with the Democrats) if Trump doesn't make certain concessions.

They won't, but that should be a much bigger story than whether the Democrats are doing everything that *they* can.

Just learned that this is the FIRST TIME IN HISTORY that a US ally has been targeted by the ICC. Meanwhile, the state department cancelled today's press briefing, just a coincidence I'M SURE.

You could probably radicalize a good percentage of the American working class by just explaining how thoroughly the tax code is rigged by the wealthy few, the same ones currently growing richer by raising the cost of every product and service we need to survive

Are there House Ethics committee reports into other legislators that haven’t been made public? Because if so…those should probably be made public too.
Some House Freedom Caucus members are screaming payback if Dems successfully force a vote on the House floor to release the Gaetz ethics report, saying it could lead to them getting other reports involving current or former Dem members, per Politico

Even if you adjust for inflation, the US economy is ~6.5x larger than it was in 1960, & our population has nearly doubled. The idea that the federal government is bloated with employees is beyond silly.

We got our first flurries of the season today and I realized it’s time to knit her a new big girl sweater — this was last winter when she was just 5 months old and that sweater could be a hat now 🥹

I keep thinking about those congresspeople kneeling in the rotunda wearing kente cloth scarves, very performative. There has been no loud, visible, unified support for Sarah McBride from the democrats. It’s a real disgrace. That is your colleague! They are bullying her in your faces. And silence!

Fun fact: Elissa Slotkin was the #2 recipient of cryptocurrency industry spending this election cycle (behind Bernie Moreno). Crypto super PACs paid $10 million to install her.

Perhaps she should try "Not from the faculty lounge but the Coinbase boardroom."
So this is what we're doing now. Cool cool cool.
