So sad how everything ended with Mastodon, and now this. Seeing Crack the Skye live in its entirety was one of the best gigs I've ever been to.

Rest in Power, Brent.

🚨 Exclusive 🚨
Ian Rush has put his name to a 90-minute, score-settling, AI musical in the style of Hamilton about his legal battle against a Surrey scaffolding company and a small Wigan law firm, in so doing attacking, among others, Robbie Fowler and Jamie Carragher.

To clarify: Rory Stewart, a very obvious spook, hosts the most popular politics podcast in the UK alongside the man who engineered support for the Iraq War in the press. Both are now interviewing Syria’s new leader, a former member of Al-Qaeda whose own militias’ practices have been compared to ISIS

Bizarre for a journalist to pretend not to understand that trivial issues can be given political salience by disingenuous media coverage.

Does Matt think the voting public fretting about email security in 2016 and then never again was a naturally occurring process?

I'm so sorry I can't stop laughing. OpenAI, the company built on stealing literally the entire internet, is crying because DeepSeek may have trained on the outputs from ChatGPT. They're crying their eyes out. What a bunch of hypocritical little babies. Cry more, freaks.

Not sure if this new Chinese AI model is all it's cracked up to be, but if it is, a lot of Silicon Valley's going to be DeepSeeking some windows to throw themselves out of

Surely everyone knew Musk was dog shit at gaming when he posted his heinous Elden Ring build? The man is a fool.

It's not an echo chamber though. For me it's developing into a place you can talk / watch a football video without being served up some gross xenophobic/racist video you really didn't want to see.

The pivot is that simple 🤷‍♂️
Opinion - The problem with Bluesky: It won’t broaden our horizons: In the wake of Donald Trump’s election win, the social-media platform has enjoyed a surge of new users looking for an alternative to Elon Musk’s X. But will it be useful, if it just creates an echo chamber for the left?

Could go on about this for ages but it really shouldn't be surprising that at a farmer/C.A type rally, a bunch of people are wearing stuff like Barbour - they create hard wearing, waterproof utilitarian coats, farmers love that shit!
Barbour has always been vaguely conservative coded, especially in Western Europe. But this doesn't mean you can't wear it if you don't share those political views. It's all about knowing the different levels of Barbour. 🧵
