Lapsed influencer. Geordie (*VERY*). Arty. Amicable. Nice. Previously did football for adidas, Nike, Puma, World Soccer, Guardian, NY Times, BBC.

And then one particularly sensitive and articulate teenager will say, "Why, kids, do you understand nothing?”
Darts again. Indebted to Liam who is basically a god for providing this link.

A radio programme like the Shipping Forecast but it’s called Bin Day and it just reads out every single council in the country’s bin schedule

Literally down at the tube station at midnight. Always thought it was a bit late for a curry and a bottle of wine. I have neither. May get cans soon, however.

Mac DeMarco brought RYAN FUCKING PARIS out at the Hammersmith Odeon, btw. He closed with La Dolce vita and I’m happy to now die anytime soon. Scenes. Scenes upon scenes.

Gary Lineker: "This is the mistake the BBC makes. The BBC tries to appease the people that hate the BBC, rather than worrying about the people that love the BBC."

Ok President Trump, if you sue the BBC for $1bn for spreading lies, I’ll sue you for the same amount. I reckon Planet Earth would crowdfund that. Then I’ll buy Mar A Largo, turn it into a climate change research centre, free Melania, and put a 1000% tariff on orange face paint.

Away to see the greatest living popular beat musician at Hammersmith. For some reason people have opted to queue for a good hour. Yer boy knows better. Gone for a couple.

So this was last night’s crawl in central London, which I really enjoyed. Tried to focus on pubs with serious history and good beer. The Flying Horse was shite and The Porcupine outrageously expensive so I’d drop those. The French House was an excellent addition though.

Hell of a gaff, mind. Great beer as well.

FIFPro have released their statement in response to Fifa setting up what looks like a rival organisation which they can claim represents players. It is as meek and feeble as could be feared.

Listen, Newcastle United are where they are. We need to hear from the owners about next steps very soon but we’re flying in Europe. Eddie needs to get more out of this squad, but it might get worse before it gets better.

I was going to keep you posted on today’s progress but I’m now hammered and have ended up in the Greggs in Leicester Square. It’s been marvellous, mind. Expensive but marvellous.

Away to that London tomorrow for a couple of days, will update in due course. Been researching a bit of a historic pub crawl and I’ve stumbled across this chap on YouTube. Not only are his pub overviews outstanding, he’s a soul mate when it comes to the demise of bitter. youtu.be/BAR9u6zjtwg?...
Is bitter disappearing from London pubs?

EU investing €546 billion for high speed rail by 2040

E.g. Lisbon to Warsaw, from 38 hours today to 12 hours

Pricing to compete with low cost flights

Reduce emissions by 80%

Jokes on them, they don't have Brexit sovereignty 🤷‍♂️
