Ok President Trump, if you sue the BBC for $1bn for spreading lies, I’ll sue you for the same amount. I reckon Planet Earth would crowdfund that. Then I’ll buy Mar A Largo, turn it into a climate change research centre, free Melania, and put a 1000% tariff on orange face paint.

So this was last night’s crawl in central London, which I really enjoyed. Tried to focus on pubs with serious history and good beer. The Flying Horse was shite and The Porcupine outrageously expensive so I’d drop those. The French House was an excellent addition though.

Listen, Newcastle United are where they are. We need to hear from the owners about next steps very soon but we’re flying in Europe. Eddie needs to get more out of this squad, but it might get worse before it gets better.

I was going to keep you posted on today’s progress but I’m now hammered and have ended up in the Greggs in Leicester Square. It’s been marvellous, mind. Expensive but marvellous.
