My grandfather was born and raise an American and fought for his country in the 442nd infantry regiment in WWII, the most decorated unit in the history of the US military.

The Army just deleted without explanation its page about the 442nd “GO FOR BROKE” infantry regiment—the Japanese American WW2 unit that is the most decorated in US military history.

I find my quiet posters feed is my favorite feed, though it doesn’t update all that often. I recommend it for anyone who wants to make sure they see all their follows and not just the highly active ones.

This was a fun read and apparently I didn’t know how lucky I was to be able to get a copy a few months back!
Also, for the completionists among us, there is currently a single copy of ALIEN: ECHO by Mira Grant on eBay for $29.99. Given that this seems to be the only copy currently for sale in the damn world, this is a steal. If you missed this one, this is your chance!

I’m glad to report my fish appear to have weathered the storm. The power outage Gott eh tank quite cold, and I thought I lost 3 fish, I have now spotted 2 of them and am holding out hope for a third.
Unfortunately, the heater is now failing so I need to do some emergency plumbing tomorrow to fix it

I’m glad to report my fish appear to have weathered the storm. The power outage Gott eh tank quite cold, and I thought I lost 3 fish, I have now spotted 2 of them and am holding out hope for a third.
