NATO is a voluntary, mutually beneficial alliance, not a protection racket or extortion scheme.

If it’s forfeit land as tribute or no NATO, that effectively means no NATO.

The threat itself, even if not acted upon, undermines the trust and credibility that makes the alliance function.

That's been his plan the whole time.

For Putin.
Trump again threatens to take Greenland today saying, "I would like to make a deal the easy way, but if we don’t do it the easy way we will do it the hard way.” Trump attacking Greenland ends NATO. That is EXACTLY what Putin wants. Lost in our recent conversations is how Trump is owned by Putin

This is why we need to rebuild union power.

Strong unions serve as a countervailing force to runaway corporate power and ensure workers share in the profits their labor creates.

Otherwise, the rich eat up a larger and larger share of the pie — like this:
Mike Konczal: Released this morning, the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ labor share of income for Q3 2025 is the lowest on record.

The evidence is increasingly pointing to the probability that an ICE agent killed a woman after misreading her as a threat because he was distracted by his simultaneous effort to record her so he could upload her image to a facial recognition database.
We've analysed this video of the shooting of Renee Nicole Good yesterday in Minneapolis frame-by-frame to highlight the positioning of the gun and phone in the ICE agent's hands.
