Neil deGrasse Tyson likes to bring up how if the Earth was the size of a billiard ball, it would be rounder and smoother than any billiard ball we could manufacture.

As big as mountains seems up close, but we really fail to comprehend just how colossal the Earth is
People were arguing in my mentions today about whether the Earth is "round" when it's technically an irregular oblate spheroid and look "round" doesn't mean "absolutely perfect sphere" it means round. A soccer ball is round, a cantaloupe is round, a fluffy borb in winter is round, just go with it.

I'm not exactly sure at what point a sandwich ceases to be a sandwich anymore... but I'd estimate that's at least 3 inches of meat past that point
Didn’t have to drive all the way to NYC!

Would be nice if his drones and travelling shit show could explore a different continent
Talks between Jamaica and former #CanMNT manager John Herdman progressed but fell through earlier today, sources tell SI.

Herdman still appears to be on the comeback.

Jamaica names Rudolph Speid, Chairman of the JFF technical committee, as interim manager.
Per sources, former #CanMNT and Toronto FC head coach John Herdman has emerged as a candidate for the Jamaica job ahead of the World Cup playoffs.

Curaçao qualified ahead of Jamaica, and Steve McLaren resigned.

Early stages.

For some reason I always thought decadent meant fancy and opulent… TIL it’s the exact opposite

No wonder I got such crap marks in English

I always wonder about my neighbours who park outside when they have a garage… but there seems to be more of them than ones that park in their garages

I did not have a garage until I was 35, so I love it, and never want to have to scrap frost off my car ever again

It would be nice to have another baseball team. We will have to insist on your hockey team bringing back the old Northstars logo however
As someone in Minnesota, if things got that bad, maybe we could just like move the border further south.

For the most part I think they look good... but why do they keep trying to make these multi-layer parka's a thing? They just look ridiculous

Still think it's absurd we makes teams peak for trials, run the toughest gauntlet in the sport, then pour whomever survives on a plane a few weeks later for the Olympics with no real prep.

At least the finally smartened up and moved doubles qualifiers up to last season. Hopefully these will follow
Good morning sports fans from downtown Halifax.

Have seen a number of the teams including Homan, McDonald, Koe and Epping ahead of the Olympic curling trials.

First practices today. Really starting to feel the buzz around here. Might just be the espresso though.

So the cat will just invite himself to lay on you with no consideration for your comfort… then if you as much as jostle him, will look at you with the hurt of a million broken hearts in his eyes

The two hours later will stand up, stretch, survey the area, bite your hand and run away

Rumblings are the league will announce Valour FC’s folding soon. Sad end. After a lot of bluster, the Bombers didn’t seem to give a shit. And after they got their stadium “loan” forgiven, they checked out entirely, eventually tossing the keys to the league a couple seasons ago.

Excellent example of the rot economy

Though, I must admit, this lemonade with two wrongful deaths to its name is intriguing

27 minutes at 10 v 10 and goals for Ismael Koné and Promise David. Not sure we learned much.

Who could see this coming? I mean, it worked out great when MLB did it

It's the (lack of) attention to detail that really sets TSN apart nowadays
Really love TSN's overly large score bug that still doesn't fully cover the whatever one is on the original feed.
