There are many layers here, but I want to comment on one aspect of these findings for now--the editorial board representation. Some will see this and immediately think: we need to get more POC on our boards! I understand that impulse, but encourage you to think a few steps down the game tree 1/n.

➡️n~1150, 3 months data, 4 scales
➡️6 nomothetic & idiographic methods
➡️2 timescales (4/day & 1/week)

The rumor is true. I *will* review PhD applications for my lab, newly located at the University of Illinois Chicago! Please apply if you're interested in social identity (with focus on Asian, MENA, Hispanic Americans) and intraminority coalition-conflict. Lab: www.pbandjlab.com

The built-in pals were the first "AI thing" I found genuinely useful for my work.

They tackle problems common enough to care about automation but too tedious to program against. Getting an "about right" solution, combined with a bit of manual polishing was definitely an improvement. #RStats
I've been working a new #rstats package called pal🤖

Pals bring a library of LLM prompts into your RStudio/Positron sessions, editing code directly at the press of a keyboard shortcut.
