For democracy to be truly representative we need to include many more voices. But young voters (18-25yo) face unique barriers and are often overlooked.

He couldn’t “comply” because of his disability…they don’t care
This is not the first time they’ve gone after a disabled person
They target the most vulnerable because it’s an easy way to meet their quota

I encourage every PhD student to set up an academic website, even if they don't feel like they have a lot to put on it. Why? Helps to get discovered by search engines and establish a search-friendly presence.

For those who don’t know, Lina Khan gave tech bros hell AND her ass to kiss when she was FTC chair. She was busting monopolies left and right. Gave Amazon and Meta the finger too.

The more I think about this, the more frustrated I get with our leadership. It is hard to see this decision as anything but preemptive compliance.
The President’s Postdoctoral Fellowship Program, PPFP, has been a jewel in the crown for faculty development and recruitment at the University of California for years and the results have been an expanded faculty with almost 100% tenure rates — unprecedented success.
